Needs Assessment
Based on expressed needs from evaluations of previous attendees and
presumed needs of the Continuing Medical Education Committee.

Upon completion of the full course, participants should be able to know:
- The importance of MRA (Meridian Regulatory Acupuncture,) a
scientific
system of acupuncture now used in the management of major pain
problems and body disorders.

- The etymological and formal definition of acupuncture; its
historical
background; and types of acupuncture practice.

- The differences between MRA Therapy and oriental classical
acupuncture.

- How simplified and refined are the technique and skills employed
in the
administration of MRA Therapy.

- The neurophysiologic mechanisms of acupuncture based on the
“Quantum Theory of Acupuncture,” as a scientific working model;
the role of endorphins in acupuncture.

- The growing list of severe specific pain and non-pain disorders
that
have responded favorably to MRA Therapy over the last 33 years.

- How to integrate MRA Therapy into their own medical practice
setting.

- How to build a successful practice of modern scientific
acupuncture.
